Can I make a booking on behalf of another person but pay it with my own credit card?

Yes you can.

Can I check in if the booking is under someone else’s name?

No, only the person whose name and valid ID stated in the booking confirmation will be allowed to check in.

If I am making a booking for one room for 2 persons, do I need to provide both names?

No, you only need to provide one name. The person named in the booking must be present during check in.

How do I check if I have successfully made a booking?

You will receive a confirmation email with your booking reference number in the email address that you entered upon booking within 24 hours. You may also view your booking details by clicking on ‘My Reservations’ on our website.

Must I print out my booking reservation?

It is advisable to print out your booking reservation for reference and easy check in at the Hotel. If you don’t have a print out of your reservation, please confirm your booking details at the Reception Desk and provide your identification.

In what currency do I pay for my stay at the Hotel?

Payment would be in the currency of the respective country the hotel is located in.

What is the earliest time I can check-in?

The earliest time you can check-in is 2.00 pm for hotels in Malaysia and 3.00 pm for hotels in the UK on the check-in date.

What is the latest time I can check-out?

The latest time you can check-out is 11.00am on the check-out date.
For hotels in UK, the latest time you can check-out is 10.00am on the check-out date.

Do you have parking facilities?

Yes, some of our hotels come with parking spaces where charges may apply. Please refer to the individual hotel pages for more information.

Is there a minimal number of nights I must book?

One (1) night unless you have booked the Day Use Transit Room at Tune Hotel klia2 which can be used for a maximum of 12 hours between 7am to 7pm.

What is the maximum number of nights I can book?

The maximum number of nights per booking is ten (10) nights. Stays exceeding 10 nights can be arranged via a separate booking on our website or by contacting our reservations department directly.

Can I cancel my booking?

No, unless you have chosen the Flexible Rate Package which allows you to pay on arrival with no cancellation fees. Cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to arrival. Otherwise, bookings cannot be amended, modified or cancelled. Any booking cancellation or failure to arrive on the scheduled check-in date will be treated as a no-show and will result in the total payment under that Booking Confirmation (including add-on charges together with applicable taxes).

Does Tune Hotels offer refunds?

No, Tune Hotels does not provide refunds, unless stated otherwise in your booking rate plan.

Are meals included in the price? Is breakfast included?

Meals are not included in your booking. You may choose to add on breakfast for a fee when you book on the website. You may also purchase breakfast in person at the restaurant. Breakfast is only available at selected hotels. The Tune Exclusive Rate includes breakfast for 2 at selected properties when you book direct on this website. Please check the hotel’s individual pages for more information.

Is there an F & B outlet in the Hotel?

Yes. Most of our hotels come with a casual dining restaurant and bar. Please refer to the individual hotel page for more information.

Is there Internet access in the Hotel?

Yes, all guests enjoy complimentary high-speed WiFi access throughout the property. However, this does not apply to our UK hotels where WiFi is an add-on feature for a fee.

Do the rooms have en-suite bathrooms?

Yes, all the rooms have en-suite bathrooms equipped with power showers.

Are the rooms air-conditioned?

Yes. All rooms are air-conditioned, unless stated otherwise.

What are the beds like in the rooms?

All Tune Hotels rooms come with five (5) star quality beds. The bed sizes vary according to room type.

Are bed linens provided?

Yes. All beds come with a full set of linen which includes bed sheet, duvet and pillows.

Does the Hotel provide additional beds or have extra beds available?

No. The hotel does not provide additional beds.

Does the Hotel provide towels, soap, shampoo, etc?

Yes. All rooms come with basic toiletries which includes two bars of soap, shampoo and conditioner. This however does not apply to our UK hotels, where toiletries are an add-on feature for a small fee.

Is there room service in the Hotel?

No. Tune Hotels does not provide room service as we operate on a select service concept that focuses on providing the essentials for a good night’s stay, passing on the savings to our guests.

Do the Hotel rooms come with a telephone, television, radio, safe, mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities?

No. Tune Hotels operates on a select service concept that focuses on providing the essentials for a comfortable stay. This does not include an in-room telephone, radio, mini bar and tea- and coffee-making facilities. However, in-room safes are provided in all rooms (charges apply for UK hotels). Televisions are also provided in all rooms except for our hotel in Aeropolis and Penang.

Do the rooms have windows?

Some rooms have windows and some rooms do not. However, they are clearly stated in the room type and room details on the individual booking pages.

Are there electrical power points in the rooms?

Yes, there is at least one (1) electrical power point available in all rooms.

Do I have to clean my room? Is there housekeeping service?

Yes, housekeeping service is provided daily on a fixed schedule for our hotels in Malaysia.
However our hotels in the UK have different frequencies and schedules. Please refer to the hotel’s individual pages for more information.

How often is cleaning of the rooms done?

Housekeeping is carried out once a day on a fixed schedule.

What are the add-ons available at the hotels?

For a small fee, you may choose to add-on early check ins, late checkouts and breakfasts for your stay. However, add-on features may vary according to hotel locations. Please refer to each hotel’s individual pages for more details.

What should I prepare when check in?

Guests are required to present proof of identity in the form of a passport for international guests and NIRC for Malaysian guests. For Tune Hotels in the UK, non EU nationals are required to present valid photo identification.

How can I book connecting rooms?

You may request for connecting rooms at Front Desk during check-in and it is subject to availability. Connecting rooms are not available in all hotels. Please refer to individual hotel pages.

How much are your room rates?

Our room rates are not fixed. It fluctuates based on daily demand and availability. However, we do guarantee the best rates if you book directly on our website, tunehotels.com

Can I change my room type upon checking in?

Yes. You may upgrade your room type to a higher category upon availability and pay the difference upon check in.

Is there a wardrobe in the room? Can I hang my clothes in the room?

No. There are no formal wardrobes in the room with the exception of our Premium Rooms in Tune Hotel KLIA2. However, we do provide sufficient space for you to hang your clothes on a clothes rack with hangers.

Can I smoke in the Hotel rooms?

No. Tune Hotels is a strictly non-smoking hotel. Smoking is not permitted in all rooms. However, designated smoking areas around the hotel is provided.

Can children stay unaccompanied in the Hotel?

No. Children under the age of eighteen (18) years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

Are guests allowed in the hotel/room?

Yes. Non-hotel guests are allowed in the hotel in the company of hotel guests.

Bookings

  • You can book your stay with us:
  • You must have a registered account with Tune Hotels at the www.tunehotels.com website in order to make a booking
  • Your booking will be charged in full upon completion of the booking process and payment made is not refundable
  • A Booking Confirmation confirming your booking will be issued within twenty-four (24) hours of a confirmed paid booking to your registered email address, otherwise, please contact us
  • You must print out your Booking Confirmation and present it for check-in at the Tune Hotel (“Hotel“) you booked with, together with your original valid photo identification document (national registration identity card, passport, driver’s licence or other identification card or document as the Hotel may require)
  • If you make a booking five (5) days or less from your check-in date you must present the credit card used for payment for verification. Failure to do so may delay your check-in process
  • Due to security reasons, only the Guest named in the Booking Confirmation is allowed to check-in

Note: Our room rates and charges are published and transacted in the currency of the country where your booked Hotel is located. This is to give the most affordable local rates by avoiding incremental costs such as currency fluctuations and exchange rate gains.

  • Advertised room rates are applicable for selected dates only
  • Room rates are subject to availability
  • Room rates are subject to change without prior notice
  • Rooms are limited and may not be available on public holidays, school breaks and weekends
  • All room rates are on a per room per night basis

Changes and Cancellations

Payments made for bookings (including Add-Ons, if any) are strictly non-refundable.

Change of Guest name on your booking is allowed if made three (3) full days or more before check-in date subject to a Name Change Fee. (Please refer to the Fee Schedule)

Cancellations
Other than change of Guest name, all bookings cannot be amended, modified or cancelled. Any booking cancellation or failure to arrive on the scheduled check-in date will be treated as a no-show in respect of a booking. The total payment under that Booking Confirmation (including any Add-on charges together with any applicable tax paid) is non-refundable and will be forfeited.

Change of Guest name can only be made online at https://bookings.tunehotels.com/AccClient/MyInformation.asp.

Unless otherwise expressly stated, no changes or cancellation will be allowed for promotional bookings. Please read the terms and conditions of the relevant promotion carefully, which terms of promotion shall apply to the booking and shall be binding on you.
