The mosque, known locally as the Beijing Mosque, has a unique design that combines Chinese and Islamic architecture similar to the more than 1,000-year-old Niujie mosque in Beijing. Indian and Uzbek features are also incorporated in the interiors.
Unique in every sense, Pasar Besar Siti Khadijah is the most photographed market in the country. The stalls in the market are all run by women.
